Homeschool rules
From age 7, notice to the district superintendent by October 1 each year (or within 15 days of leaving public school), then a yearly letter of intent to continue. A nationally norm-referenced achievement test every year (low scores call for a learning-difficulties evaluation). Required subjects are listed in law. Parents teaching their own children are qualified; other instructors have requirements.
